Rolly Polly + Town Party!!!

Elsie Anne + I went to Henry's (the 20mo. old I nanny) house yesterday for the first time in a week. She was so aware + excited to see him... she was smiling + cooing + not wanting to take her eyes off him. It was so different from 2wks ago when she was scared of his loud voice + crazy actions! I think going to Cincinnati + meeting a lot of new people + being around crouds really made her more accepting of others!

We were playing in thier living room... Henry was 'reading' books, while EA lay on her tummy trying to find the best way to look @ him. She was rocking side to side, as normal... all of the sudden, she shot her arms straight out in front of her, kicked her left leg over, + ROLLED to the RIGHT!!!! I was shocked and so excited... I was clapping + cheering for her, so Henry joined in, + she gave us the biggest GRIN:) It is thrilling to see her changes from day to day! This was her 2nd roll, but she hadn't done it in 2wks. And the 1st time, I cheated a bit + put her arm down for her, + then she did the roll. This time it was ALL ON HER OWN, wooohoooo! Hope to get a video next time!!!

We are going to the Breckenridge Town Party later this afternoon, so I'll post pics of it when we get back! I also gave the top of her hair a trimming... couldn't handle the 'comb-over' anymore! Cheers...
