All Gone.

Tucker-Buddy's first haircut!  BEFORE...
and AFTER...
Have to share a sweet little story.  EA & I were telling Tucker how we loved his new haircut and that he looked so handsome... and EA says, "he should be in a wedding with his new haircut!!"  Her little mind cracks me up, its all across the board... one minute 'Hello Kitty', one minute 'Power Ranger Samuri', and the next 'SugarPlum Fairy Princess'!  So glad my "TomGirl" has a great imagination!!

In Recent Days...

...We've been enjoying our new home and its surroundings.  Slowly but surely we are emptying out the boxes, and organizing as they come into the house.  I'm anxious to put our pictures and art on the walls, so it will feel a little more 'lived in'!  Its bare, but we are loving our own space, and all our old stuff from Breck:)

I keep Tucker 4days/wk... and I can sure tell how time flies, by the way he has grown!!  I started when he was 2mo, and he is now 8mo.  Its rewarding to see his changes & milestones, and my heart just melts to watch Elsie Anne play and interact with him!!  It makes me crave another one of my own:)
Who's teaching who??  I told EA she used to do the same thing that Tucker was doing, and she tried it out again:)  The entertainment is endless!!
This is just before rest time, the two of them laying calmly on the floor watching a program.  I just missed the shot of EA rubbing Tucker's hair (sure is a lot of it)!

Lately...

...we've been staying super busy with our new little buddy Tucker!!  I've been nannying him 5days/wk 8:30-3:30, for the last 4weeks!  And I must say, we couldn't have chosen a more chill and laid back precious baby boy!  He just goes right along with whatever Elsie Anne and I throw at him have planned, and only complains when he's tired or hungry!!  Who knew babies could be so perfect?!
We've been juggling playdates, lunches, and pool hopping the entire 6weeks we've been back!!  Elsie Anne's new favorite activity at home is PAINTING INSIDE...
... or PAINTING OUTSIDE...
...and our mutually favorite past time so far is the awesome SPLASH POOL!!  EA freaks out everytime I mention it:)
Taking a well deserved Watermelon break!!
These two cousins are best buds now!  It took a few WEEKS of warming up, but now they are inseperable!
I will slowly but surely try to catch up the last several weeks in Florida, and the last 2months we were in Breckenridge!  Thank you friends and family for urging me to continue, I've been having blog anxiety of not knowing where to start, which has kept me away from the computer all together!

Not Quite Done...

We were prepared for this being the last day of Dance, but we were happy to find out they would hold one more class for us, since there technically IS another Tuesday in May!!!  Adeline & Elsie Anne doing 'Wheels on the Bus'!
 Twirling and Spinning with scarves!!
EA started a 'Super-Girl' epidemic, and before we new it, all the girls were twirling around with their Capes!
Storytime.  What a good little listener!!
Some of our Dance friends... Sade, Acadia, Adeline, EA!  Missing... Luke, Emmie, Nadia!
Playing outside of Dance...She is being a 'Tree Moster' like Daddy:)

GL7!

Snowy Saturday called for some Pool Time @ Grand Lodge on Peak 7!!  Thanks to the Dudick's we get to enjoy all the amenities of this gorgeous Hotel!  We ate a delicious breakfast, loaded up the kids & were at the Pool by 9:30am!!  I've got to say this is THE best indoor pool area I've ever seen!  The temperature is perfectly warm, it is Salt Water (so it doesn't dry your skin out), has tons of water fountains, and its the perfect depth for the kids!!  Elsie Anne, Henry & Shawn love to make big splashes & create a 'Wave Pool'!!
Having fun in the Fountains!

Tumbling Tots!

Our last 'Tumbling Tots' class.  It was very bitter-sweet.  We've absolutely LOVED having this activity on our schedule - we've met wonderful families & children, learned new tricks on the gymnastics equipment, and have worked with incredible people at the Gym!  Its been such a blessing to be a part of these activities & also have Elsie Anne right by my side:)

You see some of our obstacle course set-up in this pic... the bar (back rt), cheese mate, tunnel & bus, spring board, block, landing mat (lft), and our carpet squares for circle time & stretching!
Elsie Anne & Lilly being goof balls in the bus!
EA scooting on the balance beam?!  She got really good walking on it all by herself, and now turns any curb or crack on the ground into a "ballance beeeam"!!
Ms.Jill and Lilly doing the 'Vault' exercise!!  This became one of EA's favorite activities - bouncing on the spring board, jumping up to her knees on the block (vault), standing up & jumping to the X on the landing mat, then with a big "TAA-DAA" hands-above-her-head-FINISH!!
For the last 8months, we've 'coached' this class almost every Friday (a few breaks in between sessions)!  We've made new friends through this experience, and will always cherish these fun memories!!  Thanks Breckenridge Rec Center for this wonderful opportunity!

Choo-Choo!

Tuesdays are always fun since it's our Dance Day, but this one was extra-special!  Daddy met us at the Historic Breckenridge Train Station to play!  The girls were ecstatic to run around these enormous pieces of machinery!!
The trains had giant snow blowers on the front, so they could blast through any blizzard weather!
Once the girls had enough 'learning' about the trains, we went on a nature hike - our first of the year!!  They loved crossing the streams on bridges & throwing rocks into the river!

'Hen'

As I've requested, we are spending a lot of time with our buddy, Henry!  While our move date approaches, I am having Henry breakdowns more often:(  I can't imagine our lives, especially Elsie Anne's, without him in it!!  He is the big brother she wishes she had, and the closest thing to a cousin relationship she's ever experienced!!

These silly goof-balls are sharing a deck chair and enjoying the nice evening:)  He never gets upset with how close she always wants to be to him, and he's never come close to being aggressive with her.  He just takes all her crazy girl antics with stride:)  Maybe because they've played together since she was 2mo old!!
Splish-Splash in the melting snow puddle!
Sweet girl loving the warm weather & all our outdoor time!

Buddy Love!

Our calendar stays pretty full with nannying, play-dates, and gym classes - but one thing is for sure, when we don't see our best bud Henry, I'm not the only one missing him!!  For the past few weeks I've been listening to Elsie Anne telling stories about Henry & saying "Henewy come my houuse, Momma???" {I love that she adds an extra syllable to his name: Hen.e.ry}  So I finally broke down and asked begged 'Mrs. Anna' if we could have Henry over for a few hours!
Our little buddy showed up in his new surf board swim suit (he was leaving that afternoon for a Mexico Spring Break w/ his older siblings), snow boots & a sweat shirt - we call this 'Summit County Spring Style'!!  They both loved shovelling the snow onto our pathway & stomping on it!

After a delicious lunch, we went upstairs to show Henry, Elsie Anne's new 'Big Girl' room!  His excitement was so sweet.  They rummaged through all the bins, dressed up with tiaras, beads & wands, then started jumping onto their bellies on her bean-bag.  From the moment they started, I knew it would end in tears...
...wouldn't you know - after forgetting who's turn it was, they both jumped at the same time & slammed their heads together!  I had to scoop them both up as they wailed big crocodile tears, plop them on my bed, run downstairs to get ice, run back to my room, & sooth both of their poor little ouchies:(  I couldn't resist this precious pic of them!

Once they pepped back up, it was time for a WAGON RIDE!!  Henry loved it just as much as EA:)  He also loved getting to wear Shawn's beanie hat!!
Once back from our Neighborhood Ride, we had snack & relaxed in the beautiful sunshine!  From the looks of this sweet pic, I think Henry's been missing EA too:)
What are we going to do when we have to leave our best buddy?!  I get teary everytime I think about it!

Super Girl!!!

..."No, I Supuu Boooyyy!"  Yes, my Princess likes to pretend to be a BOY - just like her best buddy Henry!!  And this is what I caught her doing, all on her own, as we were getting ready to go outside!!
Jumping off the step & flying into the Mud Room!
Adeline doesn't know what to think of this crazy girl!!
Oh, my girl never ceases to amaze me:)

Radio Flyer!

GeeGee and Papa (in-laws) got Elsie Anne this awesome Radio Flyer Wagon!!  Until now, its been in the box, in our mud room, just waiting for the snow to melt!  EA had been giving the children on the box high-fives for a month, and been talking about, "wiide in wagon with Adiiline"!  The snow is nowhere close to being all gone, but we decided it was time for Daddy to build the wagon!

When the girls woke up from their naps (I nanny a little girl 2mo younger than EA) yesterday, they got to help with the screws, screw-driver, wheels, etc, until it was time to take it for a spin!!
They both love looking over the railings at the wheels...which prompted our new song!!  "The wheels on the wagon go 'round and 'round - all through the neighborhood!  The girls in the wagon go bumpety, bump - all through the neighborhood!"  They absolutely LOVE everything about the WAGON!!
Of course, Shawn had to show EA and Adeline they could go 'off-roading' since the wheels are so big!  Elsie Anne saw a big truck drive by and said, "dat tuuck has big weeels, liike my wagon!!!"  Her comparisons are always so funny!  She also busted out with "dats simiilar" the other day, and I about died.  She is really picking up on EVERYTHING we say these days!
And EA had to try her hand at "puull my waagon in paaking lott!"  Thankfully during mid-morning our parking lot is not busy!  She went up and down, back and forth, and even on some of the narrow pathways!  In this pic, the girls are talking about their pockets!
After many rides around our neighborhood, the girls hung out with Shawn on the patio and had their snack!  As you can see, if you venture too far off the beatin' path, there is mud and slush everywhere.  We're happy this part of our 'yard' gets a lot of sun-light, because right behind me (from where I'm taking the pic), its still 3ft deep in snow!
Thank you GeeGee and Papa for another wonderful gift!  We can already tell it will be well-used this summer, and for years after!!

Kiddie Adventure!

It all started when we decided to take Elsie Anne and Henry for a Gondola ride @ 4:45pm, when the Gondola usually closes just after 5pm.  We were just planning on doing a loop & head back to our car, but once we got to the top, one of the 'Mountain Information' guys told us it wasn't going to close until 6pm!
It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day, so of course we walked around, taking our time & even stopped @ the T-Bar for a snack & drinks!  I thoroughly enjoyed my Bud Light, as Mom washed her portion of the quesadilla down with an Irish Coffee drink!  After the kiddos finished their snacks, they hopped up & started dancing to the hip-hop tunes.  They were quite entertaining as they hugged & danced around each other, even doing some break-dancing moves on the floor:)
When I looked up from them @ 5:20pm and realized the Gondola had already STOPPED, I froze!  It took a minute to figure out there was another way down to our car - the bus.  I asked the waiter what time the next one came - wouldn't you know, the LAST one came in 15min!!!  We quickly paid, packed our things up, and ran walked as quickly as 2 kids can, to the bus stop!  EA & Henry were smiling ear to ear when we told them we had to ride down on the BUS!!  They sat perfectly still together, and took everything in!  We sang the 'Wheels on the Bus' countless times, and once again, they were the entertainment for the Snowboarders that packed the bus at the last minute!

Pheeew, thank goodness we made it back to our car!  It was pretty exciting, but the moral to this story: NEVER trust the 'Mountain Information' guys again!!!

buds!

We had to do an afternoon tubby when Adeline choked & threw-up her snack!  Not really CHOKED, she has a very sensitive gag reflex (due to being premature) & she often GAGS.  Anywho, this one really got to her and she got rid of EVERYTHING - all over the pillow, floor, toys, you name it.  Needless to say, I threw them into the tub & quickly clean up the mess:)

Once the girls smelled delicious & were dressed in their cozy jammies (@ 3pm), they were ready for a project - STICKER ART!!  One of my favs - no mess, fun & entertaining for the girls!!
Before Adeline went home, Elsie Anne got some sweet hugs from her friend:)

RASCALS!

'Little Rascals' is my new term for these two!!!  Elsie Anne and Adeline have finally gotten past the 'MINE/HITTING/PUSHING' phase and are playing so well together!

HMMM?  I wonder how many times I said, "We use gentle hands with our friends!  Let's try again with our kind, friendly hands!"  I'd guess over 100,000times - NOT EVEN JOKING!
Super-Cool Chicks with their matching shades on!!  They got such a kick out of being smooshed together & rocking - huge giggles from both!!

MORE of FOUR!

Another action-packed long weekend with our buddy, Henry!  Fun dinners & lunches @ the bar in the 'grown-up stools'!!
Sunday Funday - Henry had 'Bombers Ski School', so the boys went to the Mountain, while Elsie Anne & I had a chill day @ Church and home!  This is EA walking to her "Sunday Cool Class"!
And the boys met up after Henry's instruction & went out on the Ski Lifts!  Henry did fantastic skiing all by himself.  Shawn loved giving him pointers that really helped his coordination!  Back-in-the-Day, this was Shawn's day-job, and he is still REALLY good @ it:)
The BIG MAN himself...
After nap, we packed up & headed out to meet them!  Up,Up,Up the Gondola to the 'T-Bar' for beers & snacks!  It was awesome to hear Henry's stories of his day, his favorite part... "going FAST w/ Shawn"!!
And here are the little Munchkins going Down,Down,Down the Gondola!!  What a fun life they live, growing up in the Mountains:)
This just makes me SMILE!  Their little noses pressed up on the glass - they couldn't be sweeter:)
Monday Night Family Dinner Date @ Mi Casa!  We picked up Henry from school & went straight there for an early dinner!  I love it when we can cut out that late afternoon snack & the kids stuff themselves @ dinner!  The kids behaved beautifully & it was such a nice evening for all of us:)
Woah, a little too close Daddy, but I wanted to include the other side of the table!  My buddy, Henry!
Our Nanny stays with Henry are draining from all the extra activities, but always so enjoyable & worth it!  He is such a sweetie-pie & I am the luckiest Nanny to work with his family.  Just thinking about leaving him for Florida, (in the future) breaks my heart!
