Overnites w/ Henry...

We spent Wed - Fri nites over @ Henry's house! We had a great time playing 'family of 4'... we couldn't have practiced w/ a sweeter little boy. Henry is so affectionate, thoughtful + gentle towards Elsie Anne, it just melts my heart to see their interactions together! I was sad to leave the Dudick's house... it is so cozy + comfy, very easy to 'live' there! Here are a few pic of the last few days w/ Henry!

Just a short, sad post for Jill...
I've been asked if Elsie Anne ever cries... "She always looks so happy + always has a smile on her face!" Well, here is your answer...

"Mamma, I'm so tired... please put me in my crib!!!"
I felt terrible taking these pictures, like I was making fun of her for crying. But I guess it is good to document this side of her too?!

If you read the title of our Blog, it says 'Our "Perfect" Little World.' There is a reason for writing "Perfect" this way. It's just a pitiful little look, poor thing... but now you've got the whole truth + nothing but the truth, so help me God...

All By Herself!!!!

Yes, Elsie Anne is now sitting up ALL BY HERSELF!!! This series is in the same 3min + she never fell over or got upset! We were so proud + she could tell b/c we were carrying on like crazy!

Now I got it!! She has such balance already!

Okay, back up straight! I love my newest + biggest trick yet!!!

I have a feeling, from this moment forward, things are going to get a lot easier! She is so happy when she can see all around her + not just right beside her (when she's laying down)! This will come in handy, too, when we are on the beach in 1month! Plop her on a blanket w/ some toys + she will be loving life... just like her Mamma!!

Supreme Healthy Eggs...

Shawn made my favorite breakfast this morning... and I had to document it so that maybe BumBum could make them for herself! She raved about them when she had the pleasure of trying them!

Step I. Sautee all the veges in garlic + butter... today he used carrots, green peppers, onions, mushrooms.
Step II. Pour the eggs in + let them cook...

Step III. Add cream cheese + let it melt into the eggs. Let the juices cook down.

Step IV. Serve... he also made hashbrowns, yummm!

Thanks huney for Sunday breakfast... You're the best!

Hair Cut!!!

So... we finally found the time to cut Shawn's hair + beard!! We've had a nice lazy Sunday + been a bit productive!! This is the BEFORE pic... so long + scraggly! This is the DURING pic... all the hair is gone... now for the beard!!!! This is our sweet audience... she was too funny watching us! It was sprinkling a bit, so we put the umbrella over her. Well, she decided she needed to hold it + reached waaaay behind her to grab the pole... + then she pulled it to this position! She's so proud of herself in this pic!!
Cute story... EA has never really sat on the ground like this w/out a blanket under her. So, when she saw a little ant walking around, she got so excited! She followed it all around until it was out of sight. Then a little fly came buzzing along + she followed it all around. I just wish I could read her mind! What do you think she was thinking about these miniature creatures she had never seen before???!

DRUM ROLL.................

the AFTER pic!!! I have fallen in love all over again... this is my favorite 'du' on him... he is so handsome! Now it's time to schedule my haircut appointment... I'm in desperate need too! Can you believe niether of us have had a haircut since before EA was born... that is horrible! Oh, correction... my Mom trimmed my hair while she was out here, but it really needs a 'style' cut!!

Pit Stop...

We went to the gym + started our workout w/ a walk/run... but Shawn decided we needed to take a 'pit stop' for Elsie Anne @ the playground... I love that he is such a kid @ heart!

Elsie Anne's first slide... WEEEEEE! I think she loved it...

Uh-Oh... Daddy wants her to try it by herself! She's not too sure @ first...
But then LOVES it! They did it over + over! She's growing up too fast!

P.S. I'm still in love w/ Shawn's haircut! It must feel so much better than all that scraggles!

Out w/ Our MAN!!

Elsie Anne + I took Daddy out for a night on the town! He's been working his tail off for us + deserves our undivided attention! It was his request to watch the Red's game... so, to Jake's Dive Bar we went! EA is in her pink Cincinnati Reds uniform...
Having fun family time... we were dancing to some good tunes + Ellen (owner's wife) picked up our camera + snapped this shot! We Love It!

After watching the Red's lose... we headed over to Eric's + got really silly... I threw EA's bedtime schedule out the window, + stayed out until 10pm!!

Shawn loved the 'old' MacKenzie coming out... yes, we both got a little tipsy! Take a good look @ Shawn's beard... way out of control!! It's getting a good haircut tomorrow!

Okay, we needed a good shot to end the night! EA is asleep in her carseat behind us... we loved our night out together as a family! Someday I'll decide we can leave EA w/ a friend, but not yet!

Fun,Fun,Fun...

Elsie Anne wearing her new dress from Great-Aunt Gena + playing with 'Laura' the zebra (b/c Aunt Laura gave it to her)!! When she sits up, 'Laura' is as tall as she is + she loves giving it a big hug + nuzzles her face into it!

Having fun @ the Friday Afternoon Club... Meghan getting some baby love + EA trying to get her son, Carter! They are best buds since they see each other all the time! EA always wants whatever Carter has... he doesn't always like that! But, the other day on our walk, Carter reached up like he wanted to hold my hand, when really he wanted Elsie Anne's!! So I had to walk hunched over so that he could hold her hand.... toooo cute! By the way... these are EA's new 'Baby Legs'... love the cow pattern!!

I kept EA up so that Daddy could play a little bit before she went to bed! Her WELCOME HOME was to die for... she got so excited to see him + got a complete 'second wind'! They played for another 30mins!!! He put her Bengal's hat on 'gangster style' + she could've cared less... she never tries to take things off her head... I hope that's a habit she keeps!!!
Loving her play time w/ Dadda!! She was talking + singing + growling... the growling is new + is the funniest noise, we get such a kick out of it!!

Baby Boot Camp...

I've been extra motivated these last few weeks... doing Baby Boot Camp 2x/wk + a walk/run 2x/wk! I am really starting to see the results, which makes me want to do even more! This is us doing the 'catch up drill'... we power walk in a straight line, then the last person sprints to the front of the line! I just sprinted to the front in this pic...

There is a park near our Rec Center that we run to... we use all the surrounding elements for our workout! Here, we are using the bands + a light pole for our upper body!

This is Elsie Anne's perspective... she is in the orange B.O.B. front + center!I am using the curb + light post for calve raises... Elsie Anne thinks it's so funny watching me bounce up + down!

The babies play on the mat while all the mommies do abs in the gym! Sometimes we do this outside in the grass, but today there was not much shade + too hot for the babies! Elsie Anne was the youngest baby today + wished she could move around like the other kiddos!
Mamma working her but off... only 4 more weeks until Laura's wedding, + a ton of beach time!!

Frisco Concert...

Elsie Anne had to rest up for our exciting evening! She actually fits in her crib now... I remember she used to look so tiny in it, but now it looks like she belongs!
Elsie Anne had 'perma-grin' the whole time we were @ the concert. The band was under the pavillion in the back ground... we danced, laughed + played the whole time!

We met Laurie + Scott... they had this fun grassy spot right in front! EA loved watching all the people dancing + all the band members w/ their instruments (13 members)!!! Beautiful evening!

Our best buds... Laurie + Scott! They always know where the 'happening' spots are! Thanks for inviting us!

EA sitting all by herself in the grass... my legs are wrapped around her, but not touching! She's pretty darn sturdy these days!

Girlie Girl Bedding...

Okay, so since we didn't know the sex of Elsie Anne until she popped out, we had 'unisex' bedding + colors in her room. I loved it @ the time... 2 shades of green, khaki + brown. We added purple accents here + there once she came along, but I still felt like it looked too 'boyish'! That's the problem w/ 'unisex', they all look boyish to me! Target got some new Circo brand stuff in, which is cheaper than Tiddlewinks + the others. And, the best part about the cheap stuff is that I actually LOVED it! So I decided to go for it... + let Elsie Anne be the princess that she is!

Here is the new bumper... it is pink corduroy on the outside + lavender/multi color polka dots on the inside! It just so happened that she already had a monogrammed blanket that matches this bedding!!

I think she loves her new girlie space... what do you say?!She is one lavender little lady!! That is Daddy's request... that she not be decked out in PINK... so she is a PURPLE girl!

She's got her 'Baby Legs' leg warmers on :) They come in handy on these chilly summer days!!

SO SMART!!!

It was a chilly morning again in the Fraser home... It's been getting in the 30*s during the night these days, so getting out of bed is a chore!! I broke out Elsie Anne's slippers, she was given by one of her Breck besties, Shelby! These suckers are so nice + warm, + they tie around the ankles so they don't fall off either!!

This is her way of getting around... she scoots on her head! Look how strong she must be to hold this position! She can even play w/ toys like this... too funny!

She is so sturdy now while she sits up w/ her Boppy! She reaches + pulls toys to her... right here she is trying to read her 'Strickland's Picture Book'...
Sometimes she'd rather lean to the side to play...

Yes, you see it... Elsie Anne is now using a sippy cup! She was never a fan of her bottles, so we've just jumped a step to the 'Nuby Sippy'! She loves it, + somehow knew right away to suck on it!!

Sitting back up + playing w/ her keys! What a fun morning w/ Mommy... I love watching all her new tricks! She's growing up toooooo fast!
