Father's Day...

What a special family day... We went to early church, came home + I made Shawn brunch (I don't usually do the cooking), while Elsie Anne took a nice nap. Once everyone was rested up we went to the Golf Course to hit balls, which ended up in playing 9 wholes!!! It was my first time hitting balls since finding out I was pregnant + I surprised myself w/ how well I could still do it! This was EA's first time out on the Course + she behaved tremendously! Here she is playing w/ her "Mooky", which is her new favorite toy for her car seat!

She was ready to get out + see what was going on! We strapped her hat on + she helped me drive a few wholes. She loved the scenery + the wind in her face... she had a ball! She loved when Daddy would come over to get a smile or a kiss!

EA + Daddy on the 7th whole... isn't it a beautiful view?! Shawn walks when he plays... what a great workout, up + down all the hills! EA + I brought the stroller so that we could walk too, but that was a "NO,NO" + they made us get a cart :(

Taking a little cat-nap while Daddy finished up the last whole! Once again, she just loved all the breeze + being outside!

Once we got home, we continued to enjoy the outdoors (since we haven't been able to in quite a while due to the cold + crappy weather we've had) and had a family cook-out! Shawn + I sat in our camping chairs + cracked some beers, + EA used her bouncy seat... until the sun went behind the mountains + it got too cold! Ohhhh, how I'm craving the warmth!
We had a great first Father's Day, but missed being w/ our own Father's! We love you Dads!
