I completely spaced the whole thing + thought we'd have to skip it this year, but Shawn surprised us + had set this up all on his own! GeeGee had sent us gifts, so we were saved!! This is Elsie Anne opening her first present! She loved tearing into the paper, can't wait to see her on the 25th!! 
Reading her new 'Rudolph' book... she is so into books these days!!
...where Santa Clause arrived in his horse drawn carriage to count down the 'Lighting of Breckenridge'!! Here he is leading everyone in the countdown...
...10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... OOOOH, AAHHHH! The crowd cheered as the lights flicked on... Elsie Anne's eyes grew big + her smile even bigger:) Reminds me of New York's Rockefeller Square Tree, just smaller!
...and walked in the very front near 'Riparoo' the mascot of Breck Ski School! If you look closely, EA is in the background in her B.O.B....
...and here is my cute family enjoying the very brisk walk! It was in the teens all day, so it was super cold for the festivities!
It was a perfect family night + really got us in the spirit of Christmas!
Eating: all organic!
oatmeal cereal, banana, avocado, sweet potato, peaches, pears, mango, peas, papaya, winter squash, spaghetti squash, apple sauce, cantaloupe, whole plain yogurt, carrots, green beans, brussel sprouts, turkey (thanksgiving).... will be trying soon.... asparagus, hard cooked egg yolk, broccoli, cottage cheese, okra (if I can find it), cauliflower, spinach, eggplant, tofu, grapes, dried beans, lentils, split peas, homemade millet super porridge!!!

And the best part of all this... EA is sleeping through the night!!! Its been a few weeks now, so I don't think it's just a fluke! She loves her crib again + will put herself down a lot of the time:) So happy for our thriving little missy moo!
There is another reason this day is very special...... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALLAS!!!
...and CLIMBS all over everything! We just missed the shot of her STANDING on her bouncer! She never ceases to amaze us...
Sweet Adeline is playing on the floor beside her! They are best buds... Elsie Anne always 'checks in' on her + gives her kisses (its more like a head bump w/ an open mouth)!!!
We decided our next play-date will be in Denver to go see Santa Clause!! I can't wait to see if EA will be flirty or scared of Santa!!
Got to the airport a bit too early, so we got to play a little more before Memere went through security! EA loves doing 'Patty-Cake' w/ Memere... "throw it in the pan!"

Once back @ the house, Memere got the food warmed + ready to serve up for an afternoon Thanksgiving Dinner!
Our friends, Donnie, Laurie + Scott also came over for the delicious feast! Elsie Anne stole the show when she showed everyone her walking abilities!!
She wore her cousin Ashton's dress... so nice to have meaningful hand-me-downs!! Super cute tan cordurory w/ birds on a branch in the front, then wraps around in the back w/ two big buttons!
EA's first time eating meat... I pureed T-giving turkey + mixed it w/ her squash... she loved it! So fun getting to try new things... next up... brussel sprouts, beets + asparugus!! Now that she's almost 9mo, she also gets to have egg yolk... she is such a 'Super Baby'!!
