Babies, Babies, Babies!!! in Tally!

Our first day home, I had planned a play-date w/ all my girlfriends + their new babes! It was so much fun catching up w/ everyone + introducing the babies to each other! Brace is Gone For Good!

We saw Dr. Sink, the specialist, again today! He went over all the ultrasounds, + the new one from today, and said that Elsie Anne's are 100% healed! We couldn't be happier for her! Thanks to everyone who has been praying for her + sending us well wishes! He has truly blessed us w/ a miracle!

Laura Leaves :(

This morning we had to take Laura to the airport. Shawn, Elsie Anne, Laura + myself were out the door @ 7:15am... pretty impressive for us!! We had a fun ride... had Burger King for breakfast, chatted + watched EA sleep the whole way there. It was sad to hug Laura bye, but we had such a special weekend together! She + EA really bonded... so neat to watch as EA studies + learns new faces! They shared plenty of chats, hugs + smiles... we can't wait for September when we get to see Aunt Laura again!

After we dropped her off, we ran some errands for Shawn's work, then walked around the outdoor mall! Elsie Anne loved being held + cuddled the whole time... the weather was gorgeous! Shawn + I enjoyed each other's company + time together! It's been weeks since he's had time to slow down, + hang w/ us. Thank goodness his job is almost finished! Our Mother's Day vacation is going to be just what he needs to relax + rejuvinate!

I'm hoping to get a lot accomplished tomorrow... playdate @ rec center in the am, finish the laundry for our trip, clean the house, cook dinner for our friends that are moving + coming to our house tomorrow nite for the last time :(

A-Basin Birthday Bash!!

Shawn's birthday party was a success... EA did wonderful in the winter weather! It was mostly cloudy w/ a few breaks of sun, + it snowed a few times... but it didn't phase EA! She took a 1 1/2hr nap in the back seat of Shawn's truck! Shawn, Jeff + Paige went up on the mountain, but Laura + I hung out @ the truck. I thought I might ski, but the weather detered me. It's pretty amazing what you can do w/ an infant, + how much more fun they make everything :)

Saturday on the Couch!!

YAY... Daddy's home!!! Girls day on the couch... we watched 'girly movie' after 'girly movie'!!! "The Lakehouse", "Catch and Release", + "The Notebook" took up our entire day! Elsie Anne loved it too... she was so relaxed + kept us entertained while she was awake. She found her tongue + was clicking it all day long. She loved watching us do it back to her! She took a 2 1/2hr nap, nursed + then an 1hr nap right after that! We all loved our restful day! I really wish Shawn could have joined us... he's been working 12-18hr days lately + is so exhausted! We hope he's finished tonite!

Laura + I are making spaghetti, texas toast, + a yummy salad for dinner tonite. We are also making a 'Better than Sex Chocolate Pie' for Shawn's birthday party tomorrow! Can't wait to lick the bowl, uummmm!

Laurie's Nursing School Graduation!!

We went for a nice long walk around Lake Dillon this morning, got some groceries + then home for a nap! We all slept for almost 2hrs...thanks Els for taking a long nap!!! We got ready for Laurie's Graduation Dinner, took Shawn some delicious sandwichs Laura made @ his work, + then met the Andrews for dinner. It was so nice to see all of them... Elsie Anne dressed up for the occasion + Laurie loved it!!

We picked Aunt Laura up from DIA @ 11:30am!! We had a yummy lunch @ Quadoba where Laura got to burp EA + hold her while I got to eat my lunch! Once we got home, we just hung out + loved on sweet baby Els!

Nite, Nite Elsie Anne!

We had a really good day making Daddy feel special!! We had a birthday breakfast w/ him, where he opened up all his cards + our present. For lunch, we brought cupcakes to his job site for all the men + then took him to Butterhorn Bakery! Lunch was delicious... Elsie Anne slept through most of it, but then woke up so Shawn could play w/ her! He loves his mid-day hugs from his girls! When he got home from work, we had steak fajitas + salad, + he opened up his box of goodies from his parents! I also had some German Chocolate Cake ready for him w/ birthday candles + he was able to make his 31st Birthday wish!! EA had already gone to bed, so I was the only one to sing the b-day song to him, he loved it!! He said we did a good job "making something out of nothing"!!! I think that's a job well done on our part!!
