ULLR (the Snow God) Parade!

We were so happy to introduce Elsie Anne to the craziness of ULLR Fest! It was very convenient to have a stroller this year, since we got to pack it down w/ Busch Light, instead of having to carry it on our backs!! EA was pumped to get a festive balloon:)
Yes, you see it correctly... Marijuana is legal in Colorado now + is advertised too!! Pretty much anyone can grow it + be a supplier!

Momma + EA enjoying the festivities... Its like Game Day in Tallahassee, you're able to walk the streets w/ a beer in your hand! Such a fun time:)
One of the 'jelopy' trucks pulling a float. Shawn + I were wondering why all the 'rust-buckets' come out for the parade?? This truck was pulling the float, + a few others...

...these skiiers! It was hilarious when one of these guys got pulled right out of his boots + then dragged down the road on his side! You know he was hammered since he didn't let go of the rope!!

We headed to the Stais after-party following the parade! Once again, we've decided that EVERYTHING is more fun w/ our sweet Missy Moo!

Business Upgrade!!

I can't even begin to say how impressed + amazed @ how well Shawn's business is going!! In the day + age when construction is @ it's lowest... Shawn has been steady busy + continues to get wonderful contacts through each of his jobs! Because of this, we decided he needed to be a true 'Professional' + get a REAL BRANDING!!

We enlisted my 'Oh So Talented Cousin' to help us come up w/ our dream logo... With many conversations b/t Shawn + I, our parents, siblings + friends, we finally decided on this gorgeous + very prestigious LOGO...

Okay, this one is more for premotional reasons, but can you see it... B.A.R. I love that it's kind of a puzzle! We will make stickers of this image + give them out to all his clients, print it on t-shirts/sweat-shirts + possibly have it on the back of his business card!!

Yay...Back to Work!

After not working for almost 3wks, it feels so good to have a normal schedule again! We missed Adeline + Henry over the Holidays!!

Elsie Anne bundled up w/ Daddy to crank his truck up this morning, while I got breakfast ready. We thought it was so funny that she wanted to keep her hat on once she was back inside:) I have to share this sweet story... I haven't had the 'Play Gym' out for the last few weeks since EA doesn't use it anymore. When I pulled it out for Adeline to use, EA got so excited! She stood up over Adeline, holding on to the uprights, SHAKING the toys like crazy! They both got such a kick out of it + were smiling + laughing @ eachother. The next thing I know, EA is laying flat on her back right next to it, as if to say, "I want to play in there too Momma!" So I layed her under the toys, right next to Adeline, + they played simultaniously for about 5min! It was so stinkin' cute:)

EA is almost twice the size of Adeline now, but she is still just as gentle as a little lamb! She rolled over to cuddle + kiss her sweet friend. I'm so proud of her ability to play w/ other babies + toddlers!

FYI...Adeline had a resperatory virus + her oxygen levels are still low, hence the oxygen tubes.

I've said this before, but I've got to say it again... I feel so fortunate to be a NANNY! It is my absolute dream job + I couldn't be happier w/ the families I work for. I get to be a 'Stay At Home Momma' (my life's dream) + bring in a few bucks... could it get any better???

Cousins in Town!

We were so happy Shawn's cousins, Michael + Jenn, were able to come up for a quick visit before Michael's early morning flight back home!! We had an early dinner @ Napper Tandy's... Elsie Anne was full of her Baby Love + dished it out before we all said 'Nite Nite'!

This one was just too cute... Jenn + EA were cracking up about something:)

Thanks guys for making the effort to get up here, we enjoyed our visit! We hope it won't be so long until the next:)

Bengals Play-Off Game...

Once again, Jake's Dive Bar treated us right as we watched the Bengals vs. Jets in the PLAY-OFFS! We never expect the Bengals to go too far, so I think of this as a bonus game! Too bad we got beat:(

Elsie Anne + I doing our 'squnchy nose' face... hers is much cuter!! These days EA is constantly on the go... so, going to Jake's is getting a bit harder, since I will NOT let her crawl on the nasty bar floor! This is Shawn's make-shift playpen, which only last a few minutes @ a time, but gives us a little break from holding her. If you can't tell, he's got a few chairs backed up together to make a baracade around her...This visit she also discovered the 'Fooseball Table' + she loved twisting + pulling/pushing the handles! Look @ Shawn's girls all decked out in our Bengals attire!! Shout-out to Aunt SallyB. for EA's jersey... it is a 2T but she's already getting plenty of use out of it.

And thank goodness we're buddies w/ the owner because there is no way I could keep her OFF the table... She wanted to play WITH the players;)

Memere's Last Day...

We HAD to take Memere sledding + it never worked out on the weekend while Shawn was off, so we headed out for the Carter Park sledding hill, just the 3 girls, to make it happen!!

Elsie Anne is completely addicted to doggies... she starts barking @ the first sight. Since the sledding hill is right beside the dog park, she always gets a good dose of doggies when we're there:) Here she is w/ Memere watching all the doggie action!
"Okay, now I'm ready!" With her strap-on sunglasses, Elsie Anne is all set for sledding on this gorgeous Friday!

Memere pulled EA around to get her warmed up! And, as we found previously, EA was all smiles as we took turns trekking up + down the hill! So glad Memere got to see this hilarious adventure.

From Carter Park, we walked into town + met Shawn for lunch. EA fell asleep after our lunch date, so we continued our walk around town to let her sleep! The day couldn't be more beautiful + it was so nice to spend it w/ my Momma!

We ended the day when the Stais girls came over for a play-date! (lft-rt: Shawn, EA, Shelby 4.5yrs, Lexi 2yrs, Kiersten, Memere) I nannyed the Stais girls for 2yrs + love when we are able to get together... we consider them Elsie Anne's Breckenridge cousins!

We're BACK!!

Sorry for being MIA for the last 2wks! Mom has been here, + I just can't take the time to blog when we are playing!! We've had such a great time since she arrived on Dec.26th! Christmas was so special w/ Elsie Anne + New Year's was great too! I'm going to do a few posts to catch us up to Christmas day, so make sure to check 'older posts' @ the bottom of the page!

This week, Mom has been coming along to all of our activities!

Elsie Anne has proven herself a toddler (not quite walking yet)... there is no trace of baby in her anymore! She is just a riot!

Memere Love...

This will catch me up a few days... Friday (1/1) we hung out in our Cincinnati Bearcats gear... we were super excited to watch the game, even though it did not go our way:( Wish my Momma could be here always!!
Saturday (1/2) we went swimming @ the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 pool. It is a salt water pool... how wonderful to get out + not be all shriveled up + dry! Elsie Anne is a fish... she loves kicking, splashing, dunking, + trying to blow bubbles!
She was too stinkin' cute in her bath robe that BumBum got her!

Sunday, Jan.3rd, Elsie Anne is 10mo old TODAY! It was more sports as we watched the Bengals play @ Jake's Dive Bar! EA was cheering in her 'Ben-Gals' cheerleading uniform!!

Monday (1/4), we had a fun shopping day! She played in the kids area @ Old Navy!
