Daddy, Daddy...
It's been really nice having Shawn home these past few weekends! We have decided that its best for him to work late on the week days so that he can enjoy his girls + the holiday season on the weekends!!
Elsie Anne got some lovin' from Daddy before he went out on the mountain. She was climbing up his leg while he was putting his ski boots on... too cute! Once she starts walking, Shawn plans on getting her on some skis, he thinks she'll be skiing by her birthday (March 3rd), we'll see!

So Proud...
She was getting fussy + rubbing her eyes just before nap time, when she blurted out "NIGH-NIGH!" I said, "oh, are you so sleepy?" + she said it again, "NIGH-NIGH!" I was in shock... I said, "do you want your bottle + go night-night?" + she said, "BA, NIGH-NIGH!" What the heck? She is seriously UNDERSTANDING everything we say:)
Also, we have a little 1ft tall christmas tree decoration w/ lights + every time I say something about the xmas tree, she looks @ it, waves + says "HEEY DAAARE!" Her little brain is just exploding w/ activity!!
"cheese, see my teeth?"
Oh, this picture reminds me... Yesterday, Elsie Anne started 'sharing'! She holds out her toys (like this) + wants you to take them, but then wants it right back. It is too funny:)She's learning so much so quick, I'm worried I might miss documenting something!

9 MONTHS!
Length: 28.25" 75th%
Head: 46cm 90th%
Dr. Winfield said there is nothing to worry about her weight. EA has stayed on the same 'growing curve' since birth + will probably "always be a peanut"! And thankfully she only had to get her second dose of the flu shot today!!
Eating: all organic!
oatmeal cereal, banana, avocado, sweet potato, peaches, pears, mango, peas, papaya, winter squash, spaghetti squash, apple sauce, cantaloupe, whole plain yogurt, carrots, green beans, brussel sprouts, turkey (thanksgiving).... will be trying soon.... asparagus, hard cooked egg yolk, broccoli, cottage cheese, okra (if I can find it), cauliflower, spinach, eggplant, tofu, grapes, dried beans, lentils, split peas, homemade millet super porridge!!!
If you want to know more about my 'Super Baby Food' philosophy, visit: http://superbabyfood.com/ My girlfriend turned me on to it + I've got to say, I think its one of the best things I've done for Elsie Anne, besides breastfeeding! The book has truly inspired me!
And the best part of all this... EA is sleeping through the night!!! Its been a few weeks now, so I don't think it's just a fluke! She loves her crib again + will put herself down a lot of the time:) So happy for our thriving little missy moo!
There is another reason this day is very special...... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DALLAS!!!
