Getting So Big...

Play, play, play... then zonked!!! E.A. played herself to sleep tonight before dinner! We love her new blanket... thanks Ryan + Lindsay!

Playtime w/ Daddy!

Shawn had all of Elsie Anne's attention while practicing her "tracking" w/ the light up toy, and giving her tons of kisses before putting her jammies on!

"Daddy's Little Sweetie"

We had a very fun + productive day! The weather was beautiful... sunshine, no wind, 50*, a perfect spring day in Breck! We went for a walk in town w/ Paige + Henry, then ate lunch w/ them @ Giampietro's (pizza joint)!

E.A. has been in her hip brace for a week, today, so I was able to take her out of it + give her a well needed bath!! She's been getting sponge baths, but those just don't cut it! We adjusted the leg straps, since she has grown, and put her in the cutest outfit for daddy...

She wore her "daddy's little sweetie" t-shirt (from Shawn's mom, Gee), and her new pink Baby Legs leg warmers!! She looked precious, so we had to go visit Daddy @ work! He absolutely loved it!

We went shopping @ WalMart to kill some time, then came home and waited for daddy to arrive! Now Shawn gets his cuddle time w/ his "sweetie", we'll have some din-din + go to bed!! Pretty good day for Elsie + I!!

Just Hanging...

Daddy hangs w/ Elsie Anne after work... she keeps him captivated w/ her baby blues!! We get so excited when we hear the door opening @ the end of the day!

The Love Swing...

We got a "hand-me-down" swing! It's awesome... has a bunch of different settings + adjustments! Elsie didn't know what to think @ first, but as you see, she decided it was pretty cozy! Her first nap in a swing... I will not let her get used to this... it could undo my hard work of getting her in the crib!

We went to Target today while Shawn was skiing... Elsie's my new favorite shopping buddy! We found "Baby Legs" which are little leg warmers... they are perfect for Elsie Anne's brace, they cover + keep her little legs warm, even w/ just a onesie on! We also got some new tummy medicine called "Gripe Water", and it seems to have worked better than mylicon. We'll see if it was just a coincidence or if we'll have to stick w/ it!

Tummy Aches...

This is Elsie Anne's new favorite position when she's gassy... which is almost every time she eats. She loves being on her belly w/ her legs tucked under her!

Elsie Anne's hip brace...

Elsie Anne will be in a hip brace for 1 month. Because she was "frank breech", which is a pike position w/ straight legs, for quite a while in my belly, her hip socket did not completely close over her hip ball. The brace keeps her hips in the right position for her to heal!

Daddy gives Elsie her first Bottle!

We decided to try a bottle since she is now 1 month old!! She took it well, but was really messy! Shawn's shirt was wet after the feed!
